There are three physical features that I get drawn to. These three are usually the things that all the guys I have a crush on have in common.
One of my art classes taught me that the nose is the focal point of the person’s face. It’s true, but it’s not the first thing that catches my attention. It’s actually the eyes.
The eyes are the window to the soul. If pictures speak a thousand words, so does a person’s eye. One doesn’t have to talk for people to know what you’re going through. The eyes give it all away. No matter how wide you smile, your eyes will always have the hint of sadness and pain that you’re trying to cover up.
I love an expressive eye. I love watching its movement and the different emotions that washes over it. It’s like watching the seasons change. The eyes take me on a journey to a person’s heart. It’s the key that helps me understand what a person is going through.
The second physical feature that I love are broad shoulders. I don’t know how many times I’ve felt safe leaning on someone’s shoulder. It makes me feel I’m safe, that I’m not alone, that no matter what happens someone is there to protect me and welcome me back. Broad shoulders look so safe and warm to me. For me, it’s like a home, warm, safe and filled with love and strength.
The last feature that I love is the nose. I have a native Asian’s nose that I resented at some point in my life because I was bullied, insulted and discriminated because of it.

Those are the features I loved, too. The eyes will forever be number one on my list, too.
There’s just something in a person’s eye that catches my attention. I guess it just haunts me, in a non-creepy way.
I think I can relate. Good thing Filipinos are normally black and brown eyed. Imagine looking into someone’s blue/green/eyes. Mesmerizing/tantalizing won’t even be enough!
I agree with you! Eyes are the window to the soul! The first thing I pay attention to, when I meet new people
