Last September, I had the opportunity to collaborate and model for Imagine Nation Photography, a team of professional wedding photographers. It was a dream come true. Since I was a kid, I would often daydream of posing in a wedding dress that I would wrap myself in a white blanket and sashay around the house. I never thought that this would actually happen since modeling wasn’t something I thought I would do back then.
In case I never get married, at least, I got to wear a wedding dress.
This photo reminds me of Lord Byron’s poem, She Walks in Beauty. Here’s an excerpt of the poem:
She walks in beauty, like the night
Of cloudless climes and starry skies;
And all that’s best of dark and bright
Meet in her aspect and her eyes;
Thus mellowed to that tender light
Which heaven to gaudy day denies…
…And on that cheek, and o’er that brow,
So soft, so calm, yet eloquent,
The smiles that win, the tints that glow,
But tell of days in goodness spent,
A mind at peace with all below,
A heart whose love is innocent!
